Here you will find some of our most frequently asked questions as well as our booking policy. If you cannot find the answer to your question please contact us, we'd be happy to assist you.
Do you require a depsoit when booking? PurBliss request a $50.00 deposit for all body/facial services which will be applied towards your treatment. When booking cosmetic injections a credit card will be required but not charged. In the case of a no-show appointment or a last minute cancellation the deposit will be lost, or your credit card will be charged due to our cancellation policy. Deposits are non-refundable - should you need to cancel your appointment a credit will be applied to your account for your future appointment. By booking an appointment you are agreeing with the terms stated above.
What if I'm running late to my appointment? Please remember, PurBliss reserves your appointment time especially for you. If you are running late, please notify us as soon as possible. If you happen to be running more than 15 minutes late we may not be able to accommodate your full service or may need to reschedule your appointment.
What if I need to cancel my appointment? PurBliss understands that things happen and life gets busy. However, if you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, please contact us within 24 hours of your appointment. We kindly ask that you notify us if you are unable to make your appointment, this allows PurBliss to make time available for other Beauty's. If you do not show up to your appointment a no-show fee will apply.
Do you offer gift certificates? Yes, PurBliss offers gift cards for purchase which can be arranged for pickup. If you do not have time to pick up a gift card, PurBliss also offers e-gift cards - click the link below. Please note PurBliss is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards. ​
How do I prepare for my facial? Please contact us if you have any questions regarding what you should or should not do prior to your facial appointment. NO major sun exposure or use of tanning beds 2 weeks before ​ NO exfoliating 3 days prior ​ NO waxing or depilatory creams 2 weeks before ​ Discontinue use of Retinols/Retinoids 7 days before
How do I prepare for my laser hair removal appointment? Please SHAVE the area being treated 24 hours prior to your appointment (no less than 12 hours). DO NOT wax, tweeze or sugar between laser appointments to the area to being treated. DO NOT use depilatory cream between laser appointments on the area to being treated. DO NOT tan before or after your laser hair removal appointment. DO NOT use skin care products on the area to being treated prior to your appointment or immediately after. You can take over-the-counter pain reliever prior to your appointment. You may apply a topical aesthetic cream prior to your appointment if needed. If the steps above are not followed, we may not be able to proceed with your appointment.How do I prepare for my laser hair removal appointment? What is the aftercare protocol after a facial appointment? All aftercare protocol will be discuss after your facial appointment. Please follow the steps below to ensure optimal results post facial, if you have any questions do not hestitate to contact us. NO major sun exposure or use of tanning beds 2 weeks after treatment. ​ NO exfoliating 3 days after treatment - no Vitamin C, Salicylic Acid, No face scrubs, Benzoyl Peroxide etc. ​ NO waxing or depilatory creams 2 weeks after treatment. ​ Discontinue use of Retinols/Retinoids 7 days after treatment. ​ Make sure you are wearing SPF regularly. Change pillow case for a clean one before going to bed. For Microneedling: DO NOT wash face for 12 hrs after treatment. If a adverse reaction occurs please contact your doctor immediately.
What are the contraindications regarding a facial? Please notify us if you have had any of the following prior to a facial appointment; Accutane use in the last 12 months. ​ Cosmetic Filler in the past 3 weeks. Botox within the last 4 days. ​ Laser in area being treated in the last 3 weeks. ​ Electrolysis in the last 7 days. Which facials are safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding? Facial + Massage, HydraBrasion, Steam facials are safe during pregnancy. Using the right products is important, so be sure to let us know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before your facial appointment.

Is laser hair removal safe while pregnant or breastfeeding? Unfortunately it is not recommended to have Laser Hair Removal while pregnant, however it can be done while breastfeeding but is NOT recommended around the breast area. It is always important to consult with your doctor prior to any treatments.
